When I was deciding on engineering, everyone had a different suggestion. Some recommended Computer Science, while others said Mechanical or Civil would always have demand. After speaking with seniors, I realized there isn't one branch that's best for everyone.
If you're interested in coding and technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science have strong career opportunities. If you enjoy machines, design, or manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering is still a solid option. Civil Engineering also continues to offer opportunities because infrastructure projects never stop.
If you're planning to join a B.Tech Course in MP , don't choose a specialization only because it's popular. Spend some time reading the syllabus and understanding what kind of work you'll actually do after graduation. That helped me narrow down my choices.
I've seen students succeed in different branches because they focused on building skills, completing internships, and working on real projects. At the same time, I've also seen students struggle in popular branches simply because they weren't interested in them.
My advice is simple: choose the specialization that matches your interest and career goals. That's usually a much better decision than following trends.
