Just wondering, am I the only one who always questions their references to case law? Oscola Referencing feels way more complicated than it needs to be compared to other referencing systems.

I know the footnote system well enough, but stuff like multiple parties in a case name, or when to include the court name and when not to, still confuses me every time. Deciding between a neutral citation and a law report has been an issue too.

One thing that's helped a bit is keeping a cheat sheet ready while I write, with examples of what properly formatted cases actually look like. Still slip up sometimes even with that though.
