If your simplisafe camera not working right like it is offline or will not connect you might need to reset the SimpliSafe camera settings. This reset will make the SimpliSafe camera go back to how it was when you first got it so you can set it up again.
First you need to unplug the SimpliSafe camera from the power. Then find the reset button on the SimpliSafe camera. Press this button. Hold it for about 15 to 20 seconds. You will know it is working when the light on the SimpliSafe camera changes. Let go of the button. Wait a little while for the SimpliSafe camera to start up again.
When the SimpliSafe camera is done resetting open the SimpliSafe app on your phone. Follow what it says to connect the SimpliSafe camera to your internet again. Make sure your internet is working well and you are using the password and stuff when you set it up.
If you still have trouble resetting SimpliSafe Camera check that the SimpliSafe camera has power and is close enough to your internet box. You might also need to update your internet box and check the settings to fix problems that will not go away.
If you are in charge of your home internet you should log in to your Deco router. Check your internet settings to help the SimpliSafe camera work better and connect again after the reset. This will make sure the SimpliSafe camera works smoothly after you reset it.
