I'm curious about other travelers' experiences. If you have a long layover, is it worth leaving the airport to explore the city, or is it better to stay inside?
I'm wondering about things like immigration, visa requirements, transportation, and how much time is actually needed to leave the can you leave the airport during a 3 hour layover and get back without feeling rushed. Is there a minimum layover length that makes it worthwhile?
If you've done it before, where was your layover, how many hours did you have, and what did you end up doing? I'd also love to hear any tips for avoiding delays or mistakes.
