I feel like I’ve been going round in circles with this for weeks now, and I just need to hear from some real people about what happened to them, in actual practice, not theory.
So here’s my situation. I run a small local business, and my website barely gets any visitors at all. Someone from my network mentioned looking into seo consultant bristol , and said it totally turned things around for their business. But then, another person said it was basically a total waste of money and that it takes forever to see anything.
So I’m sitting here trying to figure out who to trust, honestly.
I did reach out to a local agency recently, just for an initial chat. They seemed pretty genuine, and they had a look at my website. They pointed out a few things that were “not working properly under the hood”. That part was interesting, because from the outside my site looks perfectly fine to me.
But what I can’t stop thinking about is this: how do you actually tell if it’s working or not? Like what should I be checking daily, or month to month, to know it’s really improving, and not just getting fed a load of shiny buzzwords. And also, is there a specific type of business that benefits more than others? I keep wondering if my industry is too niche, or just too competitive, so that seo won’t make a real difference anyway.
Has anyone here been through something similar and actually worked it out in a practical way? I’d genuinely love to hear honest thoughts from people who have done the whole process, not just people guessing from the sidelines like I’m doing right now.
