Has anyone lately used larch wood nederlands<\b> for exterior cladding or decking stuff? I mean, I keep digging into timber choices, and larch wood nederlands show up again and again. People say it has solid durability, natural resistance against the weather, and also those nice grain patterns that just look… somehow richer than expected. A lot of homeowners and builders seem to go for larch wood nederlands, mostly because it hits a pretty good balance between looks and long-term performance.

Also, if you leave it untreated it can gradually turn into this lovely silver-grey patina, over time, which is kinda the whole idea. Anyway, I’d really like to hear from anyone with real-world experience—like what actually happens after a few seasons, plus maintenance tips and any installation recommendations. If someone already worked with this wood species outdoors, your notes would be appreciated.
