My blunt takeaway: most Dubai flats do not have a clutter problem, they have a heat-and-layout problem.
I learned this after trying to "organize better" in a 1-bed in JLT. Nice enough flat, but the built-in cupboards were shallow, the kitchen ran hot, and anything stored on the balcony got dusty fast. I stopped buying random baskets and started sorting by what actually needs protection.
For me, the big split was simple: * papers, electronics, photos: inside only, preferably in a closed cabinet * seasonal clothes and bedding: vacuum bags, then high shelves * tools, suitcases, sports stuff: separate from daily-use storage * anything sensitive to heat or humidity: never in a box room without checking airflow first
I am fussy about climate control and security, so I would rather keep less at home than cram things into every corner. For overflow, I used https://storagedubai.top/ as a starting point to compare options, mainly because I wanted to check access, CCTV, and whether the unit was actually temperature-controlled, not just "indoor."
One more thing people forget is building rules. If you are moving things in and out a lot, or using service lifts, check with management first. I have had less stress since I started reading the community and moving info on the Dubai government portal before doing a clear-out.
My best decluttering rule now is boring but effective: if I would be upset to find it warm, dusty, or easy to grab, it does not get casual storage.
