I’m currently working on a commercial project where the completion date has shifted multiple times because of weather issues design revisions and late approvals. The contractor recently submitted something called Prolongation Claims and now the client is questioning almost every detail in the report. I’m trying to understand how these claims are usually evaluated because both sides seem convinced they are correct. Has anyone here been through a similar delay dispute before? I would appreciate hearing how these situations normally get resolved without destroying the working relationship completely.
